Daily Bulletin Gilford Middle School.
Once again, the middle school will be collaborating with GHS and GES to create holiday food baskets for families in our community. All this week, we will be collecting canned vegetables, peanut butter, fluff, jelly, boxed stuffing, macaroni and cheese, pie filling, pie crust, soup, potatoes, cranberries, etc. Tables will be set up in the lobby to collect your generous contributions. The American Math Challenge @ http://www.americanmathchallenge.com/. Your child can register and participate from home. Check it out! Monday, November 23. 2009 LUNCH: Juice, Mozzarella Sticks, Marinara Sauce, Green Beans, Garlic Bread, Pears, Snack Crackers, Choice of Milk
ALL STUDENTS: The middle school boys' and girls' 5th and 6th grade intramural basketball program will run November 23 and 30th from 2:30-4:00 in the middle school gym.
Winter athletic sign-up sheets are on the conference room windows. Students interested in playing on one of the teams should stop by and sign up. Practices will begin on November 30th. The winter athletic meeting for parents will be held on Tuesday, November 24th, at 6:00 PM in the cafeteria.
ALL STAFF AND STUDENTS: 2009/2010 Yearbooks are now on sale! We have an “early bird special” offer of only $25.00, if you place your order before January 1, 2010. You can get an order form from your home room teacher and return it with a check made out to Gilford Middle School to Mrs. Selig or to the front office. If your parents would rather purchase your yearbook on line, please go to the GMS website for directions. There will be no Homework Club on Tuesday, November 24th due to Thanksgiving break.
